Upcoming Videos & I Need Puppy Suggestions!

Look out for this:
Homecoming Dance Makeup
My version of what I would wear if I went to my High School Dances.

Be surprised! I used mostly Drugstore and Elf Cosmetics
I totally understand that most high school teens don't have all the money to buy high end makeup for their school dances. I sure didn't back in high school, even when i had a job. I wanted to make it easier to pull off an "expensive look" without brand name makeup. Plus...worry more about how pretty your dress will be, not your makeup, it will sweat off anyway!
Dance. Be Safe. Have Fun.

Also look out for this:
I wanted a new hairstyle for Fall:)
I will be using My Hot Rollers to curl my hair as part of my Homecoming Dance Look

Dear Journal,
I have neglected you, don't forgive me, I will make it up to you. lol
This week is going by so fast! Maybe because I have been so busy. I am trying to accomplish so many videos this month and I have been thinking about easy tutorials for Halloween. I'm thinkin Barbie Girl, Sexy Goth Girl, and Arabian Princess. Sound cute?

School: I am transferring school next semester, but I might change my major. I really need more motivation to apply at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) in Los Angeles. I am interested in Brand Marketing. Hmm..

Life: Sean and I are saving up to get our own place that will be close to my school. Summer may be far away, but I can't wait! I'm also thinking of getting my own puppy so me and Sean's puppy will have a friend in our future place. Plus I need puppy friends to keep me occupied. lol. I am aiming for a Teacup poodle or pomeranian? What are some nice friendly, little companions? Not too furry and rowdy?

  3. thank god for wallet friendly looks ! i love it !

i suggest getting a Maltese ! i just got one last month & she is everything you can ask for in a puppy ! she's friendly, doesn't shed, easy to train, & her coat is absolutely gorgeous ! <3

  4. i agree with a maltese! i have one and knock on wood he is 17 years old!!! they dont shed. my mom has asthma and maltese's are hypoalergenic(sp?). grooming needs to be kept up but overall totally worth it considering they are so cute. another option is a Malti-poo. Poodle and maltese mixed, the only difference is that they come in more colors and are smaller.

  6. Really pretty look for cheap ^_^. I think you should go to FIDM...I can totally see you working in the fashion industry. I ❤ yorkies!!...I want one so bad...they're just so cute. Or you should get a miny Missy so you won't feel home sick.

  7. i'm in the same boat as you! im actually in my last semester at university and i feel like my degree isn't fulfilling enough. i'm thinking about going back to school after i graduate in a few months for a fashion/business program but its scary making such a big change from my original plan :S but all i can say is follow your heart because you want to lead a life that is fulfilling and no one wants to be stuck at a job for the rest of their life, wishing they had done what they truly wanted to! no regrets!

  9. I agree with the maltese. They are super cute and dont shed. Or a tea cup poodle. No pom poms though they are very hyper and they can get mean. I love your new hair color. You are right, darker is better for fall and winter.

  11. I have a shih tzu and he is so smart. He doesn't shed at all and hes very friendly and active. When I'm having an off day I know I can turn to him he's so upbeat he makes me feel better. They also don't grow very big and you can have the option of leaving their hair long or cutting it short, either way they look good. I keep my dogs hair short in the summer and long in the winter.

  12. I looove the homecoming look :) And the best part is you used ELF products! I can't wait!!

How exiting it must be to be so close to moving out with your bf... i bet you can't wait..!

Awww what about your other dog? is she staying with your family??- just wondering.
I have a maltese and she is absolutely the best. They don't shed a lot of hair, can be very friendly and they do have 'teacup maltese' if you're looking for something smaller!
Good luck with all your plans!

  19. you're beautiful and funny. I love u!
I think u should get a mini maltese! They are hypoallergenic lol, their fur doesn't shed (less cleanup at home, no fur on your bed/clothes) and they're verry affectionate. Pomeranians can get rather yippy and loud sometimes though.

    Love from Singapore.

  21. I think since you had a poodle, probably don't want another one since you want a smaller dog for the apartment... hmm.. maybe a maltese =] I just got a Bichon Frise and he's really easy to train but Bichon Frise are a little bigger than maltese by probably 4 lbs.... so iuno? One of those since I'm sure you don't want to deal with shedding.

    ReplyDelete
  22. A yorkie poo! This are really cute and when they aren't puppies any more they aren't hyper. I loved my yorkie poo, she didn't shed either.

    ReplyDelete

  28. Love your blog and the youtube channel. I understand about having to change majors. I went from attending Westwood College online and the Art Institute studying Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Retail Management, but I decided to change majors and start over doing graphic design. :) Go for what you feel you are most passionate about!

As for the puppy, My husband and I are going to be buying as house soon and I have two children, I want to get us a Shiba Inu puppy. They are so adorable. They are medium size dogs, and are so cute! They are a japanese breed, and the only dog closest related to a cat. They have feline tendencies, very independent, and do not bark as much and so smart! Good luck!

well, I am off to make a dress form out of ductape! lol check out my blog on it later tonight! see ya later girl!

  36. Hey, I am currently attending FIDM in San Francisco for the fashion design program. I'm going into my second year and I LOVE it! I highly recommend going to FIDM. It is a lot of work, but totally worth it. I'm probably going to transfer to LA after this year to continue my education because the SF campus only has a 2 year program. It is definitely worth it, just be prepared to learn a lot and work a lot. Good luck!

  41. Jarmaine! you most definitely need to look into yorkies(: i have one myself &hes been one of the best things that has ever happend to me!!! best of all, they dont shed... what more can you ask for ?!hope this was helpful. take care<333

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hey Jarmaine, I would really recommend a dotson (wiener dog, haha). They can come in both long haired or short haired. As puppies they have just the right amount of spunk and as they get older they calm down a bit but still have the happiness and fun. Another breed I would recommend would be a miniature schnauzer, they're great dogs, adorable and they love to be loved and have other dog friends. They are hypoallergenic too. They need a little up keep as, although their hair is short, it can become matted. But if you're looking into pom's then you probably expect that sort of thing. OR, last but not least, a miniature pincher. They are ADORABLE. They have an amazing love for their owners and life in general. They are short-haired and don't shed very much. However, as puppies they tend to be a little on the rowdy side, but only when they know it's okay to be. Such as at the park, and beach, etc. Hopefully I helped. :)

  44. I totally agree with other comments on getting a maltese. I have a cute 1 yr old puppy and she is hyper active and a nut but cute as a button and very lovable. She sleeps with me every night and is my cuddle bug.

  45. Pomeranians are super and kinda shouty. I wouldn't suggest you to get one if you don't like little barking dogs. Teacups dogs ... big no! They are hideous :(. pekingese, i see you with that :) They have such nice butts, haha, and they have attitudeee!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. hmm look at your local shelters! there are tons of little dogs and they usually try to help you match with one that fits your personality/lifestyle. plus you'll be saving a life! XD
